BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Xuemei Chen received a PhD degree in translation studies from Lingnan University. Her main research interests include translation and social media, children’s literature in translation, translation and gender, and reception studies. Her articles appear in internationally peer-reviewed translation journals such as Translation Studies, Target, Perspectives, Babel, The Journal of Specialised Translation, Children’s Literature in Education, and Humanities and Social Sciences Communications.
