Before you apply for the programme, please read the following information carefully.
A. General Admission Requirements
Applicants must fulfilled one of the following entrance requirement:
- An applicant who has successfully graduated from a recognised full-time Associate Degree (AD)/Higher Diploma (HD) programme with duration of at least two years offered by a post-secondary institution;
- Grade E or above in both Advanced Supplementary (AS) Level Use of English (UE) and Chinese Language and Culture (CLC), PLUS Grade E or above in two Advanced Level (AL) subjects OR Grade E or above in one AL subject and in two AS Level subjects other than UE and CLC in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE);
- Other acceptable non-local qualifications; or
- Qualifications not listed above will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
B. English Language Requirements
In addition to the General Admission Requirements, applicants are also required to fulfil one of the English language requirements. For details, please refer to the table below. You may also refer to www.ln.edu.hk/admissions/ug/non-jupas/how-to-apply/admission-requirements.
To allow sufficient time to process application, applicants are strongly advised to take the relevant English examination(s) by June.

C. Block Credit Transfer
Students admitted to Year 3 will be able to transfer 51 credits or more, please refer to the block credit transfer framework below:

The actual number of transfer credits to be granted for fulfilment of curriculum requirements will follow the relevant academic regulations regarding credit transfer, which is subject to a maximum of 60 credits for Year 3 students. As such, the student may require longer period than normative programme duration for fulfilling the curriculum requirements (i.e. may require more than two years).
D. Course Exemption
The student will be exempted from taking the corresponding course offered by the University if the application is approved. However, credits are not granted, and the student has to take another course (i.e. Free Electives) to make up for the total number of credits required for graduation.
