What if longing knew no end?

From the moment we are born, we begin learning how to say goodbye—to the people, places, and moments we cherish.

We often believe that time will soften longing, that grief is something we are meant to leave behind.

But not every story is meant to reach the same ending.

No one can walk another person's path through loss, and no way of grieving is more right than another.

Perhaps all we can do is embrace our emotions, accept the ways our relationships continue to change, and discover new meanings in what it is to lose.
