The Master of Science in International and Development Economics (MIDE) is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in modern economic theories, analytical tools, and a broad international perspective. Our curriculum focuses on international economic relations, development policy, and regional governance, enabling students to critically evaluate complex economic issues and contribute meaningfully to ongoing debates in international development economics.

Taught primarily in Mandarin, the programme is uniquely tailored to analyze global economic trends while examining the economic contexts of the Belt and Road initiative and the Greater Bay Area. We place a strong emphasis on nurturing critical thinkers and problem solvers who are capable of applying theoretical frameworks and empirical methodologies to real-world development challenges.
