Entrance Requirements
Minimum Admission Requirements
To be eligible for entry into this programme, each applicant should have:
- Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree awarded by a tertiary education institution recognised for this purpose by the University; OR
- Have obtained an equivalent qualification; OR
- Have provided satisfactory evidence of academic and professional attainment
English Language Requirements
In addition to the above, an applicant whose degree or, exceptionally, an alternative qualification deemed equivalent from a tertiary institution, is not using English as the medium of instruction (MOI) for the programme should obtain:
a minimum score of 46 (internet-based test) in TOEFL*; or
a band score of 5.5 or above in IELTS;*
a minimum score of 430 or above in the College English Test Band 6 (CET-6)**, with proof of competency in spoken English;or
an equivalent score in a recognised test;
an equivalent qualification to provide his/her English language proficiency, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
*For IELTS and TOEFL qualifications for admission purpose, the University only accepts results of tests that are conducted at a test centre and within the validity period, viz. 2 years, from the time of submission of an admission application for the specific intake cohort.
**For CET-6 results submitted for admission purposes, the University accepts only those obtained within the five-year validity period, counted from the date of submission of the admission application for the specific intake cohort. Applicants must also demonstrate competency in spoken English through an oral interview conducted by the Programme.
Tuition fee
The tuition fee for admissions in the academic year 2027-28 is HK$150,000 for local students and HK$270,000 for non-local students.
Application Procedures
Online Application
The online application system will be accessible during application period (1 September 2026 to 31 May 2027).
Applicants shall access the online payment gateway attached to the University's online application system: https://www.ln.edu.hk/admission/apply/. To apply , please follow the steps : (i) create an account in the Online Application System, (ii) complete the online application form, (iii) Upload scanned copies of the required documents to the System, and (iv) settle the application fee by a visa or master credit card.
Application fee paid is non-refundable and non-transferable. An application is valid and accepted only when the payment procedure is successfully completed. Only one programme can be chosen in each application. Applicants who wish to apply for more than one programme shall do multiple applications and payments respectively.
An acknowledgement email with the application number assigned will be sent to the applicant upon each online payment transaction. The applicant should check with the Programme if he/she does not receive the acknowledgement email.

Recommendation Form
Upon successful submission of an admission application, the system will automatically send an invitation email to nominated referees using the contact details provided by the applicant. Referees will be directed to complete and submit their reference report via the OAS Reference Submission portal within 14 days.
Do Not Read and Upload the completed Confidential Recommendation Form to the Online Admission System.
Important Note:
Authenticity of Documents Submitted
Please note that “Any false, unclear or misleading information and/or document(s) provided by applicants in their application will disqualify their applications or revoke their admission offers, and any fees paid, including down payment or deposit, will be forfeited. According to the laws of Hong Kong, forgery is a serious criminal offence that a convicted offender may be liable to imprisonment for fourteen years.”
All applicants are required to submit the consent form for academic award verification together with their application.
