I am proud that I majored in English in Lingnan University. The English courses were amazing. The professors were always well-prepared for the classes and they made learning interesting and fun. There were many class activities and group discussions, which allowed me to think critically about the teaching material and gain a deeper understanding of the issues. In addition, I was given plenty of opportunities to speak up in class. I had numerous oral presentations and I led the classes several times. My English proficiency as well as my communication skills were therefore enhanced. What is more, whenever I felt puzzled, the professors would be willing to help me out!
