I am forever indebted to the first-class research training and support I received from the MPhil program at Lingnan. My study in this program enlightened me to ask interesting and important research questions, taught me the essential skills to answer those questions, and enabled me to pursue an academic career. It is said that talents are everywhere, however seldom can they be recognized. I consider myself an extremely lucky exception to this expression, an ordinary person who was offered the opportunity to study in this program, was appreciated and supported by the faculty and staff, and subsequently discovered the passion as a management scholar. I want to thank my MPhil Supervisor, Prof Dean Tjosvold, and many others in the Department of Management who had inspired and helped me to become who I am now. Like many others who graduated from this program, I feel like part of a family.
