2024年3月5日上午，冷院长代表团第一站首先到访民生教育集团有限公司总部，参观了教育数字化建设中心的大数据平台及分析系统，暸解了最新的数字化教育发展。会面期间，冷院长与民生教育集团总裁左熠晨、董事会副主席及首席执行官张卫平、地球宪章国际中国委员及中国中心执行理事长方虹，以及北京中民国合教育科技有限公司联系董事长姜镪进行座谈交流。

2024年3月5日下午，冷院长代表团到访中国人民大学数学学院进行调研交流，与数学学院党委书记柯媛元、副院长姜昊教授、副院长黄志勇教授、向田教授、张良泉副教授会面，共同商讨双方战略合作协议。

与会双方深入讨论联合培养双博士学位项目的具体安排，表示希望尽快推进实质性合作，搭建合作框架，共同培养高级管理人才。期待未来两个学院在交叉学科领域开展科研合作，实现学院间的师生互访。最后，冷院长向学院师生进行宣讲推广，介绍了岭南大学及商学院的最新发展。

2024年3月6日上午，冷院长访问了清华大学社会科学学院彭凯平院长、孟天广副院长、经济学研究所副所长王勇、社会与金融研究中心主任郑路教授，以及全球学习中心主任曲炜。双方就合办的研究生课程及两校未来合作访问事宜进行座谈会，包括全球数字经济与治理博士项目的运营管理、数字经济专业硕士项目与全球数字经济与治理博士项目衔接与合作等事宜。

此外，冷院长是次出访北京清华大学，同时获得岭大商学院主办的全球数字经济与治理博士项目 (DBA in GDEG) 现届学生的大力支持与热烈欢迎。

2024年3月6日下午，冷院长率团访问中央财经大学商学院，与商学院院长兼MBA教育中心主任林嵩、副院长刘小元、副院长陈金亮、供应链与运营管理系晏妮娜教授及高咏玲教授进行了交流座谈会。

冷院长介绍了岭大商学院的高水平论文发表情况，以及围绕数字经济进行的商科教学和人才培养方面的变革，表达了进一步推动双方务实合作的意向。与会期间，双方就进一步推动各领域的科研合作及学生交流与互访等合作进行了交流。

2024年3月7日上午，冷院长一行访问北京工商大学商学院，并获得北京工商大学党委常委及副校长刘敏华、商学院院长何玉润、副院长赵川、研究生院院长毛新述、黎巎教授、港澳台办公室主任贺冬萌及副主任曹嬿的热烈欢迎。

刘敏华副校长及冷院长分别详细介绍了两所高校及商学院的现况、未来发展目标以及合作意向。通过此次访问，双方进一步推动在博士联合培养、师资交流与互访、知识转移、京港科研项目等方面的合作，深入交换意见，以达到数字化转型的共同发展。

2024年3月7日下午，冷院长访问团首先参观了清华大学美术学院及艺术博物馆，随后与清华大学文科资深教授及中国美术家协会副主席鲁晓波、中央美术学院教授及中国美术家协会实验艺术委员会副主任张子康、中国国家画院书法篆刻所副所长谢小铨，以及清华大学美术学院培训中心主任谢绮红进行了有效的交流会谈。冷院长介绍了岭大商学院在人才引进、学科建设和国际化教育等各方面的进展，希望继续加强双方合作关系。

最后，冷院长领导的5天北京访问交流团于3月8日圆满结束，成效彰显。透过交流、座谈及参观，进一步加强两所大学之间的了解及科研合作。是次北京访问合作伙伴之行将有效地推动岭大商学院与内地高校在人才联合培养、教育数字化、教育国际化等各方面的学术交流与合作，极具重要意义。

Lingnan University Faculty of Business Delegation Visits Beijing Partner Universities and Institutions to Strengthen Higher Quality Collaboration

The Faculty of Business in Lingnan University has been committed to strengthening global partnerships with esteemed partner universities and institutions worldwide, facilitating academic and scientific research collaborations, scholar and student exchanges, teaching and research talent training as well as knowledge transfer initiatives.

On 4th – 8th March 2024, Professor LENG Mingming, the Dean of the Faculty of Business in Lingnan University, led a delegation on a fruitful visit to the partner universities and institutions in Beijing, China, including Minsheng Education Group Ltd., School of Mathematics of Renmin University of China, School of Social Sciences and the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University, Business School of Central University of Finance and Economics, Business School of Beijing Technology and Business University.

The purpose of this visit was to strengthen academic collaboration, foster enduring research partnerships, and establish a solid foundation for future cooperation. Throughout the visit, Dean LENG promoted and shared the latest development of Lingnan University and the Faculty of Business with our partners and students alike.

Visit to the Minsheng Education Group Ltd. (民生教育集团有限公司)

On the morning of 5th March 2024, Dean LENG and the delegation commenced their visit by paying a courtesy call to the headquarters of Minsheng Education Group Ltd. The delegation was given a comprehensive tour of the big data platform and their analysis system, gaining invaluable insights into the latest trends and developments in digital education.

During the meeting, Dean LENG engaged in fruitful discussions with Mr. ZUO Yichen, the President of Minsheng Education Group, Ms. ZHANG Weiping, the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Board, Mrs. FANG Hong, the distinguished Earth Charter International China Commissioner and Executive Director of China Center, as well as Mr. JIANG Qiang, Chairman of Beijing Zhongmin Guohe Education Technology Co., Ltd.

The discussions encompassed diverse areas of collaboration, including research and knowledge transfer partnerships, digital education initiatives, and talent development programs.

Visit to the School of Mathematics, Renmin University of China (中国人民大学数学学院)

In the afternoon of Tuesday, 5th March 2024, Dean LENG and the delegation proceeded to the School of Mathematics at Renmin University of China for a productive research exchange. They had meetings with Professor KE Yuanyuan, Party Committee Secretary of the School of Mathematics; Professor JIANG Hao and Professor HUANG Zhiyong, the Associate Deans; Professor XIANG Tian, and Professor ZHANG Liangquan. The discussions focused around the strategic cooperation agreement between the two institutions, with meticulous deliberations on the joint cultivation of a dual Ph.D. degree programme.

Both parties expressed their commitment to expediting substantial collaboration, establishing a comprehensive cooperative framework, and jointly nurturing senior management talents.  Furthermore, they expressed enthusiasm for prospective research collaborations in interdisciplinary domains and fostering student exchanges between the two institutions.

In addition, Dean LENG also took this opportunity to give an Introduction Talk highlighting the latest development of Lingnan University and Faculty of Business towards the staff and students of the School of Mathematics.

Visit to the School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University (清华大学社会科学学院)

In the morning of Wednesday, 6th March 2024, Dean LENG visited the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University, where he conducted a productive meeting with Dean PENG Kaiping; Professor MENG Tianguang, Associate Dean; Professor WANG Yong, Deputy Director of the Tsinghua Institute of Economics; Professor ZHENG Lu, Director of the Center for Social and Financial Research; and Dr QU Wei, Director of the Global Learning Center under the School.

The discussions primarily revolved around joint initiatives on the taught postgraduate courses and future cooperative visits between the two institutions.  Key topics included the operation and management of the Doctor of Business Administration in Global Digital Economy and Governance Programme (DBA in GDEG) hosted by our Faculty of Business, the integration and cooperation between Master of Digital Economics and DBA in GDEG Programmes, and other related matters.

In addition, Dean LENG’s visit to Tsinghua University in Beijing also received strong support and warm welcome from the current students of DBA in GDEG Programme.

Visit to the Business School of Central University of Finance and Economics (中央财经大学商学院)

In the afternoon of Wednesday, 6th March 2024, Dean LENG and the delegation visited the Business School of Central University of Finance and Economics. They engaged in a productive discussion with Professor LIN Song, Dean and Director of the MBA Education Center; Professor LIU Xiaoyuan and Professor CHEN Jinliang, the Associate Deans; Professor YAN Nina and Professor GAO Yongling from the Department of Supply Chain and Operations Management.

During the meeting, Dean LENG presented the high-quality research publications from our Faculty and highlighted the transformative efforts in business education and talent cultivation in the field of digital economy. Both parties expressed their intention to further promote practical cooperation in various areas, including research collaboration, student exchanges, and mutual visits.

Visit to Business School of Beijing Technology and Business University (北京工商大学商学院)

In the morning of Thursday, 7th March 2024, Dean LENG and the delegation visited the Business School of Beijing Technology and Business University, where they received a warm welcome from Professor LIU Minhua, the Vice President; Professor HE Yurun, Dean of the Business School; Professor ZHAO Chuan, Associate Dean of the Business School; Professor MAO Xinshu, Dean of Graduate School; Professor LI Nao, Ms. HE Dongmeng and Ms. CAO Yan, Director and Deputy Director of the Office for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

In the meeting, both of Vice President LIU Minhua and Dean LENG provided detailed introductions to the current status, future development, and areas of potential cooperation of the two institutions. The visit further facilitated collaboration in joint Ph.D. training, faculty exchanges, knowledge transfer, and collaborative research projects between the two institutions. Valuable insights were shared to achieve the common development of digital transformation.

Visit to the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University (清华大学美术学院)

In the afternoon of Thursday, 7th March 2024, Dean LENG visited the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University and Tsinghua University Art Museum.

Subsequently, he had a productive meeting with Professor LU Xiaobo, Vice Chairman of the China Artists Association and Senior Professor of Liberal Arts at Tsinghua University; Professor ZHANG Zikang, Deputy Director of the Experimental Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association and Professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts; Professor XIE Xiaoquan, Deputy Director of the Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Academy at the China National Academy of Painting; and Professor XIE Qihong, Kris, Director of Interdisciplinary Educational Innovation Research Center of the Academy of Arts and Design in Tsinghua University. Dean LENG presented the significant progress and development of our Faculty of Business in different areas, such as talent recruitment, academic discipline construction, and international education, expressing a strong desire to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.

Finally, the entire visit to Beijing led by Dean LENG, which concluded successfully on Friday, 8th March 2024, showcased the great commitment of the Faculty of Business to fostering meaningful partnerships and advancing academic exchanges with esteemed Chinese partner universities.  Through engaging discussions, insightful meetings and visits, and knowledge sharing, the visit further deepened the collaboration in various areas with great significance, including student and academic exchanges, joint talent cultivation, digital education, and internationalization.
