| Tewodros Woldearegay Ahmed is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Government and International Affairs. His major research interests are international security, international relations theory, China-Africa relations, and the geopolitics of rising powers and great power competition in Africa. He received his PhD in Government and International Affairs from Lingnan University under the Postgraduate Studentships (PGS), a master's degree in political science from the Universität Osnabruck in Germany under the DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme (Public Policy and Good Governance, PPGG) and a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and International Relations from New Generation University College, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. | ||||
