Lingnan HPC NexT, the first High-Performance (HPC) Data Centre of Lingnan University, was launched in February 2025, providing over 6,000 TFLOPS computing power to enhance research capabilities. The facility represents a significant step forward for the University in providing next-generation computing technologies to support the rapid advancement of AI research projects. The second phase of the centre is now underway, further boosting research capacity.
Wu Jieh Yee Lingnan Hub, situated near Southern Student Hostels and offering well-designed studio, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, blends staff quarters with co-living and co-studying spaces. With inviting spaces, residents can easily collaborate and connect. Wu Jieh Yee Lingnan Hub meets the needs of its community while strengthening relationships between teachers and students, enhancing talent recruitment and retention, promoting cross-cultural exchange, and creating a vibrant academic environment.
New teaching laboratories for music, science and AI provide a state-of-the-art environment to drive innovation and academic excellence. The Music Laboratory, the first of its kind on the Lingnan campus, aims to provide students with a more comprehensive and experiential learning space for music and the performing arts, fostering future leaders in the cultural industry, demonstrating interdisciplinary flexibility, and contributing artistic meaning to the community. Equipped with advanced technology, the science and AI laboratories encourage hands-on experimentation and collaboration, fostering innovative research to address real-world challenges.
Lingnan@WestKowloon, a 28,000-square-foot off-campus learning hub at M+ Tower, provides an inspiring artistic ambience that facilitates the exchange of ideas between faculty members and students and improves collaboration in research, teaching, and the advocacy of art and culture.
Multi-purpose Performance Venue, a 2,450-square-foot theatre located in Upper Plaza, offers 124 seats for student activities and cultural performances, fostering vibrant multicultural exchanges and creative engagement.
