Professor Liu collaborates with Professor Zhiwu CHEN from HKU Business School and successfully gains the AoE Scheme (tenth round) entitled "Quantitative History of China: Historical Roots of China's Recent Success and Hong Kong's Rise" (70 million HKD) in July 2022. As a collaboration institute, the Centre will receive a total of 2.857 million from HKU with the match fund of 0.3175 million from LU, annually 0.5 million from HKU in the years from 2023 to 2027.
