嶺創上海杭州: I&E in Shanghai & Hangzhou

The economically dynamic Yangtze River Delta (長三角) in China is known for its significant contributions to innovation and technology development in Asia. It is a hub for many high-tech industries, including artificial intelligence, robotics and e-commerce. Many successful startups and companies were founded in this area, including the Six Little Dragons of Hangzhou (杭州六小龍) - Game Science, DeepSeek, Unitree Robotics, DEEP Robotics, BrainCo and Manycore Tech. 

This summer programme provides Hong Kong youth with opportunities to learn, share and exchange knowledge on the latest and emerging technologies in Mainland China, through an experiential study trip to Shanghai and Hangzhou. Participants are encouraged to develop impactful, innovative and entrepreneurial ideas/projects that address identified issues through technological adoption. 

Highlights of the programme include:

• 2-day pre-trip bootcamp in Hong Kong: 14 & 15 May 2026
• 10-day study trip to Shanghai and Hangzhou: 17 - 26 May 2026
• Post-trip sharing: 29 May 2026

The following will be covered:

• Round trip transportation Hong Kong - Shanghai - Hangzhou - Hong Kong;
• Local transportation related to programme activities;
• Accommodation in Shanghai and Hangzhou;
• Opening and closing meals; and
• Travel insurance. 

The following will not be covered:

• Visa-related fees if applicable;
• Transportation not related to programme activities;
• Most meals; and
• Personal expenses. 

Deposit

• A refundable deposit of HKD3,000 is required and will be returned upon satisfactory completion of the programme.
