Application Period for 2027-28

An applicant should go to the University's online application system to complete (i) the form, submit the copies of (ii) academic credentials (certificates and transcripts), (iii) Identity Card and (iv) other relevant materials and (v) settle the application fee by an international credit card, JETCO or UnionPay. An application is valid and accepted only when the payment procedures are successfully completed. Only one programme can be chosen for each online application with an application fee of HK$400 for normal applications. While (vi) the original copy of completed recommendation forms (at least two recommendations to support each application) should be sent directly to MScMIB Programme Office through online submission. An acknowledgement email with the application number assigned will be sent to the applicant upon each successful payment transaction. The applicant should check with the Programme if he/she does not receive the acknowledgement email.
Recommendation Form
Upon successful submission of an admission application, the system will automatically send an invitation email to nominated referees using the contact details provided by the applicant.
Referees will be directed to complete and submit their reference report via the OAS Reference Submission portal within 14 days.
Application Fee
The application fee is HK$400. Non-refundable.

Application Checklist
Please ensure that you have submitted the following as a full-set of your application package:
1. Online Application Form
2. Two Recommendation Letters (in a sealed envelope for each letter)
3. Copies of academic credentials (certificates and transcripts)
4. Completed consent form
5. CQV Report if your degree is awarded by a Mainland university (only applicable to graduates)
6. Identity documents (e.g. Identity card*, passport or other travel document)
7. Online Verification Report of Higher Education Degree Certificate (中國高等教育學位在綫驗証報告), both Chinese and English versions, issued by the CHSI (中國高等教育學生信息網) for qualification(s) awarded by universities in Mainland China
8. Online Query of Overseas Credentials Evaluation Reports國(境)外學歷學位認証書 issued by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) (教育部留學服務中心) (applicable to Mainland applicants with qualifications awarded by overseas universities)
9. Proof of English language proficiency, e.g. IETLS, TOEFL Score Report (applicable to applicants whose degree or, exceptionally, an alternative qualification deemed equivalent, is not from a tertiary institution where English is used as the medium of instruction (MOI) for the degree programme)

Process of Application
The selection process will begin as soon as we receive your application materials and confidential recommendation forms. Short-listed candidates may be required to attend an interview conducted by the Programme Director or other teaching staff of the programme. Applicants will be notified about their application result within one month after the closing date of application.
