My experience of pursuing the Master of Science in Marketing and International Business at Lingnan University in Hong Kong was an extremely valuable and fulfilling learning journey. As a taught master's program, it struck a good balance between academic theory and practical application, enabling me to systematically master the core theories of international market environment, cross-cultural management, and strategic marketing. Moreover, through opportunities like participating in the LUBCC case analysis competition, I developed the ability to flexibly apply theories in business scenarios.
The classroom atmosphere at Lingnan University is open and highly interactive. Most of the professors have rich international backgrounds. They combine the latest research findings with industry cases to inspire us to think about problems from multiple perspectives. At the same time, collaborating with classmates from different countries and regions has also made me deeply realize the importance of cross-cultural communication and teamwork, which is of great value for future engagement in the international business environment.
During my studies, I constantly challenged myself, actively participated in discussions, projects and speech training, and honed my time management and critical thinking skills under the tight course schedule. I graduated with Distinction, which was not only an affirmation of my academic achievements but also a milestone in my personal growth. This experience broadened my international perspective, enhanced my professional competitiveness, and strengthened my confidence to continue developing on the global business stage.

As a student of the class of 2023, I embarked on my academic journey at MIB with a mix of trepidation and anticipation. Entering a new environment, facing unfamiliar classmates and unknown challenges, I couldn't help but feel a bit lost and uneasy at first. However, my concerns were soon dispelled by the warm and harmonious atmosphere. The professors, not only academically brilliant, but also with great enthusiasm and humanistic care, accompanied our growth. In class, they patiently answered every question; outside of class, we gradually established a precious friendship that was both teacher-student and friend-friend.
During this year, every moment spent with classmates and teachers has become an unforgettable memory for me. I cherish every in-depth exchange and every collision of ideas, which have enabled me to grow through continuous reflection. The curriculum structure of MIB is scientific and reasonable, emphasizing the combination of theory and practice, truly laying a solid foundation for our career development. Whether it is the mode of thinking, behavioral patterns, or the perspective on the world, MIB has continuously influenced and shaped me.
Whether I become a leader in the industry or a hardworking professional in the future, I will always be proud of being a member of MIB. This experience has not only endowed me with knowledge and skills, but also made me deeply understand the meaning of growth - I am a student of MIB, and this will always be my confidence to keep moving forward.

I am majoring in Marketing and International Business at the School of Business of Lingnan University. The curriculum strikes a balance between theory and practice, covering fundamental courses such as marketing principles and consumer behavior, as well as advanced topics like digital marketing and international marketing management. The program is comprehensive and closely aligned with industry demands.
Elective courses are taught in small classes, fostering close interaction between students and teachers. Class sessions often involve case studies, group discussions, and presentations, which not only deepen theoretical understanding but also enhance collaboration and communication skills. The overall learning atmosphere is highly positive, with both students and teachers working together to create a pragmatic and open academic environment, laying a solid foundation for career development. Additionally, the university collaborates with enterprises to launch consulting projects, allowing students to form teams to offer solutions to real business challenges and gain practical experience.

During my time at Lingnan University, I have had the privilege of pursuing a Master’s degree in Marketing and International Business.
