Professional Talk about AWS

On 12 October 2024, Dr. LIU Dongping, Sr Industry BDM, Higher Education & Research, was invited to give two professional talks on “Navigating the Data Science Landscape: Industry Insights and Career Guidance for Aspiring Professionals” & “Inside AWS: Responsibilities, Challenges, and Achievements of a Senior Industry Specialist” to the students of the Master of Science in Data Science (MScDS) programme at Lingnan University.

This was a rare learning opportunity. With rich industry experience and deep insights, the guest speaker provided valuable career guidance to the audience who are interested in pursuing careers related to the field of data science, and gave them an in-depth understanding of the roles, challenges, and outstanding achievements of senior industry experts on AWS, the world's leading cloud computing platform. This has greatly benefited the students in terms of skill enhancement, career planning, and professional development.
