LEAP Activity: Empowering Learners: Term 1 Personalised Academic Writing Consultations for Postgraduate Students Concludes Successfully
The regular Term 1 Academic Writing Consultation sessions—conducted three days a week over the past several months and delivered through one‑on‑one or small‑group formats—have concluded with positive outcomes. Throughout the term, postgraduate students at Lingnan University actively engaged with this dedicated support service, organised by the LEAP Programme under the School of Graduate Studies, and received personalised guidance to enhance their academic writing in preparation for assignments and other scholarly work.
Our Learning Ambassadors — current doctoral students – offered tailored feedback through both one-on-one and small-group formats. Participants brought drafts of their academic papers and received practical, actionable advice that enhanced clarity, structure, and professionalism. The flexible format also encouraged peer collaboration and a strong sense of camaraderie among students.
