LEAP activity: “Graduates x Postgrads Networking Lab: Enhancing Job Seeking Skills and Building Your Professional Network” strengthening job-seeking skills and building professional networks for postgraduates
On 26 March 2026, the Learning Enhancement and Aspiration Pathways (LEAP) programme, under the School of Graduate Studies, successfully held the online event “Graduates x Postgrads Networking Lab: Enhancing Job Seeking Skills and Building Your Professional Network”. Three outstanding Lingnan alumni joined around 20 current postgraduate students to share workplace experiences, tackle job-hunting challenges, and offer practical tips to help postgraduates plan a career path that spans both Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland.
Students from various programmes actively participated in the Q&A session. Li Yuxuan, a student in the Master of Arts in International Higher Education and Management programme, found the session particularly valuable as she gained significant insights for her career planning.
The session fostered genuine dialogue between Lingnan alumni and current postgraduate students, strengthening professional connections and resource sharing within the campus community. Alumni generously shared their personal growth experiences both on campus and in society, career development insights, and meaningful journeys as active contributors to the community, providing students with practical guidance for working in both Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland.
