Impact of Giving: Promoting Secrets to Happiness

The Wellness Ambassador Program (WAP), supported by Wofoo Social Enterprises, has had a profound impact on the mental health of teenagers since 2020. Organized by the Wofoo Joseph Lee Consulting and Counselling Psychology Research Centre at Lingnan University, the program helps students master psychological skills through 12 hours of training. Through practical training, it effectively cultivates participants' psychological resilience and helps them reduce negative emotions.

Justin Cheung, a 2025 psychology graduate, stated that participating in WAP completely changed his perspective on life and happiness, allowing him to deeply understand the power of listening. Furthermore, WAP enhanced his self-awareness and taught him effective methods for managing stress. Professor Siu Oi-ling also pointed out that WAP has had a positive impact on the mental health of teenagers, improving their psychological resilience and reducing negative emotions.

Since its launch in 2020, the program has become an important platform for promoting the mental health and well-being of teenagers, expanding to secondary schools and universities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, benefiting the physical and mental health of more young people. The support of Wofoo Social Enterprises is crucial in expanding the influence of WAP and helps cultivate a caring and harmonious atmosphere in the community.
