  • Bachelor of Liberal Arts (Hons) in Global Development and Sustainability (GDS)
    The Bachelor of Liberal Arts (Hons) in Global Development and Sustainability trains global skills through a multi-campus experience and a multi-disciplinary curriculum. Students learn to apply creative and critical thinking to global development and sustainability challenges through analysing cultural, economic, political, historical, environmental and social systems. By interacting within a small diverse cohort and by studying abroad in two or more continents, students learn to effectively communicate across varied cultural backgrounds and professional areas. Advanced coursework and a senior capstone, guided by academic advisers and professional mentors, enable students to address central human problems while critically considering future consequences, both locally and globally. Key features of the programme include:
    • ONE Degree with Multi-campus and Multi-country Learning Experience in at least TWO different continents
    • Interdisciplinary studies with specific professional study areas

  • Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Sports Coaching and Event Management (SCEM)
    The Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sports Coaching and Event Management is a self-financed, two-year top-up degree programme. The programme is designed for Associate Degree/Higher Diploma graduates, as well as athletes who aspire to pursue a career in sports event and sports coaching sectors. It adopts an interdisciplinary learning approach aimed at enhancing the learning and teaching experiences of students. Various motifs relevant to the modern approach of sports coaching, including the integration of sports event management, and the incorporation of sports psychology into coaching, will be thoroughly studied within the two-year programme. Furthermore, students will be encouraged to critically reflect on concepts surrounding smart cities and its applications within the sports industry.
     
  • Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Public Management and Smart Governance (PMSG)
    The Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Public Management and Smart Governance is a top-up degree programme. It is a response to the rising demand for highly skilled talent in public sector management and organisations and is designed to meet the labour market needs to promote smart city clusters in the Greater Bay Area.  The programme is featured by an interdisciplinary approach, experiential learning, flexible mode of learning and strong field visit experience. It shall equip students with practical, analytical and theoretical skills and knowledge in leading and managing public sector and organisations and contribute to the governance of smart city. Students will be trained to develop the skills to initiate and assist in implementing smart city strategies in the public sector and organisations. 
  • Master of Sciences in Cross-disciplinary Technologies+ (MScCT+)
    The Master of Sciences in Cross-disciplinary Technologies+ is a one-year full-time programme. It is in response to technological advancements and evolving market demands. It aims to develop versatile professionals equipped with solid scientific knowledge and industry-specific expertise, preparing graduates to meet future industry needs. The curriculum includes core courses that provide foundational knowledge in science, technology, applied mathematics, and project management, along with elective courses tailored to individual interests and career goals, enhancing graduates' competitiveness in the job market.
     
  • Master of Liberal Sciences (MLS) 
    The Master of Liberal Sciences is a one-year full-time programme. The MLS programme integrates technology with traditional disciplines, equipping students with sports, music, media and arts talents, and students with relevant background and experience, with advanced tools include coding and programming, project/event management, product design, AI and data analysis to support their career development, as well as advancement.  By integrating core liberal sciences studies with specialised concentrations in fields of applied sports and health science, music and performance, and applied arts in techmedia, the programme seeks to empower students to excel in their chosen field while adapting to the evolving demands of the modern workforce. The MLS programme is designed to provide students with a well-rounded education that not only enhances their professional expertise but also fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a broader understanding of the complex issues in today’s global society.

 

The Doctor of Smart Manufacturing is a three-year full-time/ five-year part-time taught doctoral programme. The DSM programme is designed to cultivate high-level talent capable of spearheading industrial innovation, advancing manufacturing technology integration, and addressing very complex engineering and systemic challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration. Graduates will be prepared to take on leading roles: executive, directorial, senior management, or chief-level roles, advanced researchers in academic research institutions, government planning agencies, and corporate innovation centres, particularly within Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, and other global manufacturing and technology hubs.

  • M.Phil./Ph.D. Programme in Sustainability
    The M.Phil/Ph.D in Sustainability is designed for a diverse range of students who are interested in tackling global challenges through an interdisciplinary lens. We offer a wide range of study areas in the field of Sustainability, such as energy storage, clean energy, carbon dioxide mitigation, AI-driven design of smart materials and biomedical network, sustainable infrastructure, sustainable environment.
