Programme Structure

The MScESGM programme consists of 12 courses, five core courses and seven elective courses. Each course carries three credits. To graduate, students must complete 30 credits or ten courses with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.67 or above. They must complete five core courses (15 credits) and choose any five from the elective courses offered (15 credits) in order to complete 30 credits for the programme.

The normal duration of the programme is one year on a full-time basis. The maximum study period to complete the programme is three years. There will be two terms. Term 1 typically starts in late August or early September and ends in December. Term 2 usually begins in January and ends in May. The pre-entry Accounting course will be offered in August before the normal term starts. The classes will be normally held on weekdays, but occasionally weekday evening or weekend classes will be held to accommodate the schedule of part-time instructors if any.
