Team augmentation is the process of supplementing an existing in-house team with external personnel to fill skill or resource gaps.
It aims in assist the team member to:
- increasing the capacity and efficiency of a students project
- adding expertise in a specific area
- filling skills gaps
- providing additional support or knowledge to individuals
- helping instructor handle term-long and multiple projects
