Research Centres

The Department is History is affiliated with two research centres at the university, namely the Centre for Environmental History and Development and Hong Kong and South China Historical Research Programme. 

Both are led by senior academic staff of the department. The former’s Director is Prof. William G. Liu (with Associate Director Prof. Lei Zhang), while the latter’s Coordinator is Prof. Chi-pang Lau. To learn more about their work, please visit their websites and/or contact them directly.
