Suspected Deception on Campus

NOTICE

Please be informed that 2 suspected deception cases were reported on campus in March. The suspected male person claimed he lost his mobile phone on campus and requested to borrow the victim’s mobile phone or money. The cases have been reported to the Police for investigation.

We have instructed our security guards to step up their patrol frequency. Staff members and students are reminded to stay alert to any suspicious persons / activity on campus.

If you spot any suspicious person loitering or asking for help from others such as borrowing phones or money, please inform our Security Control at our 24-hour hotline 2616 8705.
