Orientation Field Trip on 22 August 2025

On Friday, 22nd August, the #IMCSP students went to Crossroads Foundation for their first field trip and we are happy to report that it went really well. We did the ”Struggle for Survival“ simulation game which is one of the Global X-perience program they have. It was very engaging, the facilitator, David Begbie, who is also the Director, made sure every student participated. They each got name tags at the beginning, so he would call on anyone randomly, which ensured equal participation.

IMCSP Orientation Week 2024

We are beyond excited to kick off the orientation week for the IMCSP programme! A series of events was organised to allow the new students to learn more about the IMCSP programme and the study of sociology and social policy, socialise with classmates, and meet essential professors in the Department of Sociology & Social Policy.

We are pleased to partner with Mr. Almon KWAN, Director of FDMT Consulting, again to deliver the JobEx guest lecture to our students. This exceptional session provided students with tailored education and advice for their careers in Hong Kong and clarified their diverse and promising career paths and goals. Another special highlight was introducing an AI-powered tool for CV and cover letter writing customised for our IMCSP students.
