AY2025/26

TPO Python Programming Training Certificate Course 2025/26

The TPO Python Programming Training Certificate Course 2025/26, taught by Prof. LI Zebang, will be offered to the Taught Postgraduate (TPg) students of the ten TPg programmes managed by TPO for FREE in late December 2025. Upon successful completion of the course with satisfactory result in the examination, students will be awarded a certificate. TPO Cantonese Course

This course, offered in Term 1 from 2 Oct 2025 to 20 Nov 2025 for FREE, is designed to help students quickly grasp the fundamental knowledge and skills of Cantonese, enabling them to engage in basic communication in everyday life and work settings. Through structured learning, students will develop a foundational understanding of Cantonese, reduce communication barriers, and lay solid groundwork for deeper integration into Cantonese-speaking environments and further study.

Photo Competition

The theme of the competition will be “Life at Lingnan”. Do you enjoy Lingnan’s life in the library, garden, hostel, classroom and/or every corner of the campus so far? Let’s show off your Lingnan’s Life!!

Submission Deadline: 17 November 2023 (Friday)

Eligibility:

Staff/Students from the Taught Postgraduate Programmes Office of the Faculty of Business at Lingnan University

Size:

A reasonably readable size:

JPG format (8''x10'', 20cm x 25cm); resolution at 8-mega pixel or above.

Submission Requirements:

1) Please upload your photo with a caption in the registration form on or before Friday, 17 November 2023.

2) Only one entry is allowed for each participant.

3) Participants may minimally edit the images, remove spots, crop or adjust the brightness and colour saturation of photographs, but not manipulate the content. Entries that were manipulated or edited, using any kind of editing software or app will not be allowed.

4) The entry submitted must be original taken by the participants, not plagiarized nor copied.

5) The submitted entry have not been published, awarded, or used in other competitions.

6) Awards will be decided by a professional photographer, Ms Zuo Hong, who is an independent photographer, exhibition curator and photography lecturer. The award of the winning entries will be notified by email and the result will be released by TPO social media accounts in January.
