Provision of Notebook Computers for Research Staff and Students

The University is committed to fostering a conducive research environment and strongly supports the academic endeavours of its community. The University’s new “Lingnan Hub” with close to 200 workstations is designated for use by research staff and RPg students with hot-desking arrangements.

 

Starting in June 2025, ITSC is tasked to distribute free notebook computers to support research staff and PhD students with hot-desking arrangements at Lingnan Hub.

  • Specifications: The notebooks will feature high-performance processors and ample storage, equipped with the latest software tailored for research needs.

  • Application Process: Eligible students will need to submit a service request via the Lingnan Helpdesk to obtain a notebook.
