Lingnan Ignite

Ignite your entrepreneurial journey at Lingnan by pitching your innovative tech ideas!

We are scouting for driven Lingnan students working on solutions that focus on AI adoption in four thematic tracks. Pitch your vision to experienced panellists: besides winning cash prizes, you will secure a direct ticket to the HK Techathon+ Finale - one of the largest innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) competitions in Hong Kong - to compete for up to HKD1.4mil seed funding and incubation resources!

• AI+ digital economy and smart city
• AI+ life and health tech
• AI+ sustainability and new energy
• AI+ advanced manufacturing and micro-electronics

Prizes

• Champion: HKD5,000 cash prize + ticket to HK Techathon+ finale
• First Runner-up: HKD4,000 cash prize + ticket to HK Techathon+ finale
• Second Runner-up: HKD3,000 cash prize + ticket to HK Techathon+ finale
• Merit for Impact: HKD1,000 cash prize + ticket to HK Techathon+ finale

Registration and Submission

• Register* as a team of two to six full-time Lingnan students (all levels of study are welcome).
• Submit your innovative tech-backed business proposal by 16 Oct 2026 17:00 (reference template can be found here).
• Shortlisted teams will be invited to pitch on 07 Nov 2026.
• Selected winners will receive fast-track tickets to HK Techathon+ Finale (28 - 31 Jan 2027). *All participants who register to participate in Lingnan Ignite Pitch Competition will be automatically registered for the HK Techathon+ in order to qualify for the fast-track ticket to Finale offer.  FInd out more about HK Techathon+ here.
