New Student Orientation (NSO)
The University provides essential information and supporting network for new students through face-to-face and online programmes carried out in the New Student Orientation (NSO).
NSO aims at helping you adjust to university life and build up necessary relationships. NSO includes Welcome Address by the President, talks, library and campus introduction and connections with university staff and students, etc.
Campus Life Carnival
The campus is calling — get ready for an evening full of energy, friendship, performances and fresh discoveries! Join us at the NSO Campus Life Carnival 校園生活嘉年華 2026 for an evening packed with fun, discovery and meaningful connection.
Organised by the Office of Student Affairs, the NSO Campus Life Carnival 2026 will be held on 3 September 2026 (Thursday) from 6:00pm to 8:30pm on campus. Bringing together recognised student societies, sports teams and University units, it is a great chance to explore campus life, discover your interests and meet new friends at Lingnan.
Explore different promotion booths, chat with student representatives, and enjoy live performances at Kin Sun Square and the covered areas of the LCH, WYL and LBY Buildings. Whether you are interested in sports, music, dance, culture, community service, student societies, or simply want to experience campus life, there is something exciting waiting for you!
