Student Societies
Lingnan University is committed to fostering a vibrant campus life and an inclusive student community to support students’ whole-person development and enrich their campus cultural experience. The University is pleased to announce the commencement of the registration process for student societies for enhancing the administration and services offered by us.
Students who are interested in setting up, running, and sustaining student societies are encouraged to register under Lingnan University through the Office of Student Affairs (OSA).
By doing so, they will be eligible to:
| receive the University’s guidance and support | |
| apply for funding and subsidies | |
| access to resources such as venues and facilities | |
| gain opportunities for collaboration with other Lingnan community stakeholders |
All office-bearers of the newly established and registered student societies, as well as the executive committee members in subsequent sessions, are required to sign the Student Leader Charter. The Charter does not only outline the ethical and behavioural expectations of these students, but it is also a reflection of the University’s responsibilities to them in accordance with its vision, mission, core values and motto.
The Student Societies Registration for 2027 is open from 30 September to 2 November 2026. The registration deadline is 17:00, 2 November 2026. Please refer to the “Guidelines for New Student Societies Registration 2027”.

All student-led activities must comply with university rules and regulations. Students have the right to opt out of any activities at any time. Please contact the “Ambassador against Bullying and Sexual Harassment” of the corresponding student society should you encounter any incidents of bullying or sexual harassment during student activities.
