Research Assistant Professor | Hodar Lam received his PhD in Organisational Behaviour at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). Before joining Lingnan University, he was an Assistant Professor of Work and Organisational Psychology at University of Amsterdam, where he obtained the Dutch University Teaching Qualification (Basiskwailificatie Onderwijs; BKO). He is the Chair of Division of Industrial-Organizational Psychology (DIOP), The Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS).

Assistant Professor of Teaching | Onting received his Bachelor of Cognitive Science degree from The University of Hong Kong (HKU). This program focuses on various disciplines related to the human mind, including cognitive and perceptual psychology, artificial intelligence, linguistics, neuroscience, and philosophy. Following completion of his bachelor's degree, he earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in cognitive psychology from the same university. During his PhD studies, Onting's research primarily concentrated on visual perception.
Before joining Lingnan University, Onting worked for ten years at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University College of Professional and Continuing Education, where he served as the Program Leader for the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Psychology programme.

Professor OUYANG Xiangzi, Olivia Assistant Professor | Dr. Ouyang earned her Ph.D. degree in Educational Psychology from the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong. After completing her doctorate, she served as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Psychology at the same institution. In August 2023, she joined Lingnan University. Her research primarily focuses on children's cognitive development, with a particular emphasis on understanding the cognitive and environmental factors influencing children's mathematical learning, academic emotions, and mathematical learning difficulties. Additionally, Dr. Ouyang has a keen interest in the application of psychological statistics and psychometrics, especially in their applications to children's cognitive development.

Prof. WONG Ho Chun, Frankie | Frankie Ho Chun Wong studies the intersection between digital media, health, and society. Frankie obtained his Ph.D. from Philip Merrill College of Journalism, University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to that, he worked at The University of Hong Kong on ageing and mental health research. Frankie employs machine learning, natural language processing, and mixed methods techniques, looking for nuances in the sea of data. His work examines how social and policy issues were shaped by new media and technology in the digital age, as well as the influence of social and demographic factors on media use and health outcomes.

Dr. Getrude Dadirai GWENZI Associate Programme Director, Master of Social Sciences in Comparative Social Policy (International) | Getrude Dadirai Gwenzi holds a PhD in Sociology and Social Policy from Lingnan University, Hong Kong (2019) and a Master of Social Science degree in Social Policy from University College Cork, Ireland (2016). Her research focuses on family meanings, separated children, orphans and vulnerable children, and youth transitions to adulthood.

Dr. Ginbert Permejo CUATON | Ginbert Permejo CUATON has a PhD in Environmental Science, Policy and Management from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He researches social policy issues in the nexus of disasters, displacements, and climate action in Southeast Asia, and his works have been cited in globally important reports and policy instruments by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), UN-Water, and UNFAO. In 2024, he served as an expert in the review and development of UNESCO's Guidance Note on Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage in the age of climate emergency.
His papers are published in leading academic journals, such as Geoforum, World Development, International Journal for Disaster Risk Reduction, and Third World Quarterly. The British Academy, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the Sydney Environment Institute, the HKUST Institute for the Environment, and the La Trobe University of Australia have funded his collaborative and interdisciplinary projects in the Philippines and Malaysia.

Dr. LI Lulu | Dr. Lulu LI joined Lingnan University as a Research Assistant Professor (RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship awardee) in the Department of Sociology and Social Policy at Lingnan University in September 2024. Dr. Li obtained her Ph.D. in Gender Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before joining Lingnan University, she was a Postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she also taught part-time. Dr. Li’s research interests are the interaction of gender, work, and family in China, self-employment and gig work, and digital nomadism in the context of marketization, digitalization, and globalization.
