House Rules

(Applicable to Venues Given on Admission Tickets)

1. Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate times.
2. To ensure the smooth running of the ceremony, all participants should set their mobile phones and other ringing devices to silent mode before entering the venues and graduates are not allowed to bring along bulky items into the Auditorium.
3. All participants should adhere to basic etiquette by staying until the end of the ceremony to show their respect for other participants and the ceremony. 
4. Smoking, eating, drinking are not allowed inside the venues. Unauthorised photography, flash photography, or any recording that disrupts the proceedings or obstructs views is not permitted.
5. Throwing objects and displaying banners, flags or items of any kind inside the venues are not permitted.
6. Activities including shouting, demonstrations, petitions or other acts of protest which may interrupt the proceedings of the Congregation are not permitted inside the venues.
7. Any participants who violate the abovementioned points no. 4, 5 or 6 will be asked to leave the venues.
8. Children under the age of six are not admitted to the venues.
9. Graduates who attend the Congregation are deemed to have accepted the above house rules. They should notify their guests of the above house rules as well.
