1. To advise the UBPC, the Business FMB, and Heads of Business Departments about curriculum issues relevant to the updated Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) standards, in particular the standard concerning Assurance of Learning;
2. To conduct periodic reviews of the statements of programme level and, where relevant, stream level intended learning goals of the BBA, and where appropriate, to propose changes to such goals for consideration by business departments and by the UBPC;
3. To maintain strategic oversight of a rolling programme for the assurance of learning goals of the BBA, and to ensure that each programme level learning goal is assessed at least twice in every five years;
4. To receive reports from relevant course coordinators and from other relevant units or outside parties, as appropriate, regarding the assessment of programme level learning outcomes, in accordance with the assurance of learning goals referred to under 3;
5. To make appropriate recommendations to business departments and to the UBPC for curriculum changes needed to close the gap between desired levels of student attainment of programme level learning goals and the measured levels of attainment.
