Generative AI, immersive experiences, digital platforms and new business models are reshaping the cultural and creative industries. The future calls for professionals who can work across disciplines—people who appreciate artistic value, apply technology, exercise sound business judgement and collaborate with others from diverse professional backgrounds to drive innovation.

At Lingnan University, the Master of Science in Arts Technology and Business (ATB) places interdisciplinary learning at its heart. The programme brings together business education from Lingnan’s Faculty of Business, perspectives on art and design from professors and mentors at Tsinghua University’s Academy of Arts & Design, and a rich range of industry experiences. It helps students connect appreciation with creation, analysis with decision-making, and technology with responsibility.

Since its launch in the 2023/24 academic year, the programme has continued to enhance the learning experience in response to feedback from students, faculty and industry partners. We recognise the different strengths and experiences each student brings. Through preparatory support, real-world case studies, project-based learning, industry engagement and hands-on applications of technology, we help students translate interdisciplinary thinking into practical, sustainable innovation.
