Lingnan University meets with Dr Gennie Lee to honour the Lam family's legacy

On 23 December 2025, Lingnan University strengthened its longstanding partnership with the Lam family, including Mr Lam Kau-mou, Mr Lam Woo and Mr Lam Kau-yui, during a meaningful meeting with Dr Gennie Lee and Mrs Peggy Zee, descendants of Mr Lam Kau-mou. Dr Lee served as the Chairlady of the Lingnan Education Organization from 1998 to 2002 and was conferred an honorary doctorate by Lingnan University in 2003, making significant contributions to the University.
Dr Patrick Wong, Chairman of the Court, Prof S. Joe Qin, President, and Ms Jessie Law, Director of Institutional Advancement and Alumni Affairs, shared recent updates of the University and expressed gratitude for the Lam family’s enduring support. Dr Wong also invited Dr Lee’s continued engagement in the University’s future initiatives.
The discussion highlighted Lingnan’s latest achievements and upcoming initiatives, with both sides exchanging ideas and exploring further collaboration to benefit the Lingnan community.
To mark the occasion, the University presented Dr Lee with a commemorative gift in recognition of her lasting dedication to education and partnership with Lingnan University.
