LIFE students completed “BOCHK Grassroots Football Planner Programme”

The “BOCHK Grassroots Football Planning Programme” is an entry-level football coach training course organized by The Football Association of Hong Kong, China (HKFA). The course includes principles of grassroots football, how to organize fun and safe football activities, and more. Graduates of the course can organize and host grassroots football activities for children under the age of 8 in the communities. After completing 12 hours of practicum, participants will be eligible to enroll in the HKFA “D” Coaching Certificate Course, advance towards professional football coaching qualifications.

In May, over ten students from LIFE’s Higher Diploma in Sports Coaching and Leadership successfully completed the 6-session training course and will continue with their practicum. This course has laid a solid foundation for these students in football coaching, and they have also gained valuable experience that will aid their future development as coaches in other sports.
