All graduates attending the Ceremony are required to wear the academic dress provided by the University’s authorised service provider namely “Tick Your Gown Limited” (TYG). 
 

Start Date of Academic Dress Registration: 28 October 2024 (Monday) 
Start Date of Academic Dress Collection: 1 November 2024 (Friday)

Acquiring Procedures

1.    Register with TYG for academic dress reservation via https://www.tyg.hk/lnulife.
2.    Complete the e-registration and receive the confirmation email via your provided email address.
3.    Graduates shall present the confirmation email from TYG (either in printed copy or screen capture by mobile phone) to the staff at TYG’s outlet for verification and collection.  TYG will NOT entertain the pickup request if the graduates fail to present the confirmation email from TYG.

Return Procedures
Please observe the above return period and return the academic dress to TYG’s outlets in person. Deposit will be forfeited for late return beyond 28 January 2025. For details, please refer to TYG’s information in the e-registration.

Change of Registration Information
Graduates can re-login to the TYG’s system to change the submitted information.

Change of Dress
If graduates would like to change the academic dress collected, please contact TYG at 9309 1337 or 9531 5758.

Extra Rental Offer
Graduates can enjoy extra rental offer upon completion of Graduate Survey conducted by LIFE. Graduates shall present confirmation email received after completion of the survey (either in printed copy or screen capture by mobile phone) to the staff at TYG’s outlet to enjoy the following offers:

(i)    HK$500 coupon for family and graduation portrait
(ii)    50% off coupon for graduation teddy
(iii)    Tassel on the cap will be provided to you as a gift

Please indicate your attendance of the Ceremony by completing the online registration form here (password remarked in the invitation letter) on or before 24 November 2024 (Sunday). Upon successful registration, electronic admission ticket(s) will be sent to you via your provided email address by late November 2024. Late registration will NOT be entertained. Please note that all Graduates and your family members must produce a copy/screen capture of your e-ticket before entry into the ceremony venue.

You may collect your Graduation Certificate at Lau Chung Him (LCH) Building after the Ceremony according to the following:
 

If you are unable to collect the Graduation Certificate in person during the above period, you may collect it at the General Office during office hours on or after 6 December 2024 with details below:
 

You may authorise a representative to collect the Graduation Certificate on your behalf. The authorised person has to present his/her HKID card and provide your signed authorisation letter (Annex) and a photocopy of your HKID card.

Please note that the uncollected Graduation Certificates shall be retained by LIFE for one calendar year. The uncollected certificates will be shredded after 5 December 2025. 

Student Transcript
A copy of your transcript (Student’s Copy) will be provided together with your Graduation Certificate.  This applies to graduates of Associate Degree, Higher Diploma and Diploma in College Foundation Studies Programmes only.

Please refer to the email of electronic admission ticket for the password.

• Names of graduates will be published in the Programme Booklets. Graduates’ degree classification will not be shown unless they are awarded a Distinction.
• At the Graduation Ceremony, award titles will be announced and names of graduates will be called. Degree classification will not be announced unless the graduate has received a Distinction.
• Graduates should contact LIFE General Office to discuss any issues arising in relation to the use of personal information.

Outstanding Payment / Items
If you still have unpaid accounts or unreturned materials on loan due to the University and/or the Institute, or have not met any other obligations due to the University and/or the Institute, you should settle them immediately; otherwise the Institute may withhold the conferment of your academic award.

Photo-taking inside Auditorium
To maintain the order of the Ceremony, photo-taking except by authorised photographers is not allowed during the Ceremony.
