LIFE Info Day 2025 (Session 1) was successfully held

Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) held the “LIFE Info Day 2025 (Session 1)” on 6 June 2025. The Info Day composed of two thematic talks, and one-to-one consultation sessions. The events were held in hybrid mode, on both face-to-face and online basis. Thanks to all coming students, parents and teachers, the Info Day was a huge success.

The two thematic talks were “Sports Psychology: Mental Toughness” and “DAE: The Fast Track of Articulation and Employment”, covering industries of Sports Coaching and Leadership, Psychology, and Diploma of Applied Education. In the talk of “Sports Psychology: Mental Toughness”, Dr. LI Hin Yue, Henry, President of the Hong Kong Society of Sport & Exercise Psychology (HKSSEP) was invited. He shared the concept of mental toughness from the perspective of sports psychology, providing insight into how mental toughness can be utilized to cope with adverse situations and stress. Ms. LU Ning, Nancy, LIFE Programme Leader of DAE, was invited as the second talk speaker. She shared about the curriculum, articulation pathways and application information of the programme. The speakers answered queries of audiences, and shared more about what audiences interested in.

One-to-one consultation sessions were also held in hybrid mode. Teachers from LIFE gave individual advice to students according to their unique background, interest and ability. They answered the questions about students’ own articulation pathway, as well as information about LIFE programmes. Some of the comers applied for LIFE programme, and enjoyed a waiver of application fee. The Info Day helped students, parents and teachers grasping the most updated information of the industries and the related career pathway. Hope all the comers gained some insights for the events.
