We are excited to share that Prof. Zhang Hong, Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, and her research team have received the prestigious Rosabeth Moss Kanter Award for Excellence in Work-Family Research 2025 for their pioneering study in the field of work-family dynamics. This international award, conferred by Purdue University’s Centre for Families and Boston College’s Centre for Work and Family, recognises the most outstanding interdisciplinary contributions to work-family research.

Prof. CHEN Tingting’s led project featured in a recent UGC’s report of the RAE 2020 Impact Case Studies

Prof. CHEN Tingting’s led project “Enhancing Individual, Team, and Organizational Effectiveness through People-Oriented Leadership” was featured in a recent UGC’s report of the RAE 2020 Impact Case Studies.

The report, entitled “The Impact of Research Undertaken by Universities in Hong Kong: A Synthesis of the RAE 2020 Impact Case Studies”, is a consultant report published by the UGC and produced by Clarivate Analytics UK in May 2023. It examines the impact of over 340 impact case studies submitted by the 8 UGC-funded universities in response to the RAE 2020, covering 11 thematic clusters including Business & Commerce.

The study, led by Prof. Chen and her team, investigates the effectiveness of people-oriented leadership practices, aiming to develop practical solutions towards the organisational management of companies and assist them in achieving greater competitiveness. Honourably, Prof. Chen’s research was selected and highlighted in the report of Business & Commerce cluster. This recognition not only unveils the exceptional quality and potential impact of Prof. Chen’s work in the fields of organizations and businesses, but also demonstrates our faculty's commitment to making a lasting positive impact on our society.

Prof. LEE Xue Ren Randy received the Early Career Award at the Research Grants Council (RGC) Award Presentation Ceremony 2023/24. Prof. LEE's proposal scored full mark and his outstanding education plan has been recognized. Out of the numerous talented researchers across the eight UGC-funded universities, only 7 recipients were honored with this distinguished award in this round, with Professor LEE being one of them.

Prof. CHEN Tingting elected as the Chair of the SIOP (Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology) Virtual Program for the Greater China Region.
