Student Enhancement Programme (SEP)

About SEP


The Student Enhancement Programme (SEP) of the Department of Management aims to enhance the learning, leadership, networking, and whole-person development of selected Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship students. Participating students will be engaged in a variety of activities. Through the Programme, students will be able to:

  • Broaden their horizon by attending a series of activities, e.g. seminars, conferences, workshops, etc.
  • Achieve the University, Programme and Departmental level learning objectives in respect of language, IT, international perspective, knowledge, critical thinking, team skills, ethics and service to the community.
  • Strengthen their confidence and leadership skills by participating in academic competitions for undergraduate students.
  • Have on-going mentoring and coaching by academic staff and alumni/practitioners as necessary.

Selection Criteria:

  • Clear evidence of leadership potential, communication skills, and/or other relevant qualities as demonstrated in extracurricular activities and/or in class, and
  • Selection interviews will be conducted.

 

Department of Management Student Enhancement Programme Scholarships

Eligibility and Criteria:

  • The Scholarships shall be awarded to 2-3 full-time students majoring in Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship who have been selected by the Department for the Student Enhancement Programme and possess outstanding performance.
  • No. of Awards and Amount: HK$3,000-5,000 for each student.
