Locating A Library Area with Our New Zoning Signages
Ever find yourself wandering the Library corridors, unsure of which way to go? Navigating our vast ocean of knowledge can sometimes feel like a real adventure. But worry no more - Library has listened to your feedback and made some exciting upgrades this summer!
We have completely revamped our Zoning Signage to facilitate your way easier and more intuitive. Every Library floor is now divided into Zone A, B, and C. Each floor is highlighted with a distinct color, so you can instantly tell where you are at a glance.
We have updated the main signage and will continue a second phase of directory signage updates in Term 1. Stay tuned! These enhancements are designed to help everyone from first-time visitors to seasoned researchers.
Interactive Floor Plan
Interactive Floor Plan Now Live!
Together with the new signages, we also soft-launched a brand new interactive Floor Plan which is more than just a map. You can zoom in and out, switch between floors with a tap, and explore every seat and corner right from your device. This floor plan reflects real-time occupancy and offers multiple viewing options, including:
- General floor overview
- Real-time seat and floor occupancy
- Environmental wellness data
- Bookshelves lookup (available from 1-Search)
- Coming soon: Facilities search (available on Library's touchscreen TV)
