• Planning

  Successful research starts with careful preparation.The Library's rich collection, along with expanded resources through HKALL and Partners service, provides a strong foundation for your work. Need help searching? Our one-on-one Research Consultation Service offers expert advice on effective information retrieval.

• Data Management
  Managing research data effectively is essential to research success. With Research Data Management @ Lingnan, you will learn key concepts, best practices, and tools for efficient data management. Also, our institutional data repository, Lingnan Data Repository, allows you to deposit, share, and publish your datasets, making it easier to comply with the growing demand for data sharing.
• Publishing
  When ready to publish, please take advantage of the Library’s Open Access Publishing Agreements with major publishers to publish OA articles in selected journals at no cost. For journals outside these agreements, researchers can apply for the Open Access Publishing Support Fund (Lingnan-OA Fund) to cover part of the Article Processing Charge (APC), subject to review and approval.
• Dissemination
  Publishing is just one step in the research journey. To enhance the visibility and impact of Lingnan’s research, the Library curates and showcases research outputs through  Lingnan Scholars, the University’s Research Information Management System. New academic staff and RPg students are encouraged to share your publication lists or CVs with us, and we will assist in building your profiles.
• Impact 
  To highlight the real-world impact of Lingnan’s research, the Library captures and visualises research metrics through interactive dashboards, showcasing the reach and significance of the University's work. Faculty may also request customised dashboards tailored to their specific needs.
