I left my full-time job to join the MWOP program in 2019-2020 so that I could upskill myself, dedicate more time to learn and give myself a competitive edge, and I was able to get that and much more from my time at Lingnan University. With the structured and compassionate guidance of my professors and through the thought-provoking courses, I was able to break into a new industry. "I work in the field of human resources and training development. I have found that the role of human resources has become increasingly significant in today’s market. The demand for related professional services has also risen."
Under the supervision of professors, we conduct in-depth studies on relevant psychology areas. The programme covers both theories and scientific evidence which help us develop a solid academic foundation and critical thinking skills so that we will be able to formulate effective human resource management strategies and design professional training and development schemes in the future.
The progamme allows me to serve in the field of work and organisational psychology. I shall be able to offer professional advice to corporates and their staff at the same time, take care of employees’ physical and psychological health.
I am sure this will contribute to the well-being of both organizations and individuals."
