Students will be expected to complete 30 credits comprising eight courses and one individual project.

Note: Part-time students are expected to take at least two courses in each term in various orders as long as the course prerequisites are satisfied.  

 

 

Graduation Requirements

To qualify for the award of the Master of Social Sciences in Health and Social Services Management offered by Lingnan University (LU), students must, where applicable:

 

  • Complete 9 courses (8 courses and 1 project) and obtain a minimum of 30 credits;
  • Achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.67; and
  • Fulfil the University exit requirement on English language competency, if applicable; and fulfil all University/programme requirements. 
  • A student who fulfils all the requirements for graduation shall be awarded a Master of Social Sciences in Health and Social Services Management degree with one of the following classifications:

Students will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Health and Social Services Management if they complete not less than five courses with a minimum GPA of 2.33, and do not continue in the programme. Acceptance of an intermediate award implies an intention not to complete the required assessments or courses for the final award.
