On behalf of my parents and myself, I would like to sincerely thank Lingnan University for this priceless and generous support. The moment I received the offer, I felt proud to stand on my own without relying on my parents. "The entrance scholarship offered by the Sociology and Social Policy Department has helped me a lot as a freshman. I was really worried about the financial burden at first. But it turns out , I realized this is my turning point where I can explore lots of things : participating in or even holding activities in the community , which I can have enough assets to serve my hometown ; joining amazing university activities or projects by different societies or faculty.
Receiving a scholarship doesn't mean to achieve the greatest, but to have opportunities to build up yourself so as to achieve the greatest. So, don't think "scholarship" is an untouchable thing, perhaps you can be the next person and do your best, 加油!"
