Student-athletes who are eligible to represent Hong Kong in regional or international competitions and have demonstrated outstanding sports performance; and
Nominated by the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) or National Sports Associations (NSA) or equivalent sporting bodies
Note: Self-nomination will be considered on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the eligibility stated in (i).

- Academic Support -
Flexible study period: could be extended beyond normative period of study
Early course registration
Flexibility in curriculum delivery, including online teaching, alternative assessment with individualised mentoring support, academic advice, and career planning
- Student Support -
Dedicated facilitators who perform as one-stop-shop will follow up with student-athletes from time to time and work closely with administrative offices and academic departments to provide timely advice and support wherever needed
Peer Mentors who are “buddies” of student-athletes will take care of the wellbeing and provide assistance with university life and academic support
Professional consultation services (e.g. Sports Psychologist and Sports Nutritionist)
Priority for internship placement to explore career options
Priority for hostel accommodation
- Medical Care and Insurance Coverage -
On top of the basic Medical Scheme to Lingnan full-time students and sports team members, additional medical care and insurance coverage will be provided to safeguard the health of student-athletes.
