The World United As One in Lingnan
Our campus is highly internationalized and inclusive, with around 70% of our faculty coming from diverse international backgrounds, many of whom have previously taught at top institutions worldwide.
Our undergraduate community brings together students from diverse backgrounds, including those from Mainland China, Germany, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Panama, Mongolia, Myanmar, Russia, Turkey, Brazil, and more.
Each year, we also welcome many visiting students and scholars from every corner of the world and host International Day to celebrate cultural diversity, further enriching our community's global flair.

“I was supported in undertaking a half-year social service internship at UC Berkeley, where I learned the value of making even small, positive changes in society. During my stay, I worked on a project about Chinese migrants, visiting and conducting interviews to record their stories and help them express their needs and emotions. I also had the chance to connect with some alumni from Lingnan's old Guangzhou campus!”

But the most rewarding part was experiencing the profound joy of inspiring those teenagers alongside a group of passionate friends, all dedicated to contributing to a better society.”

Lingnan is just a quick 30-minute direct public transportation ride away from the downtown of Nanshan District of Shenzhen, Mainland China, making it the closest Hong Kong university to this innovation powerhouse.
