“Participating in the Joint Humanitarian Entrepreneurship Winter Academy was a profound experience for me. I traveled to the Philippines for this event, which provided me with insights into effectively integrating business innovation with social responsibility and how to apply them. Pitching a business proposal for a group of women affected by the Taal volcano eruption highlighted the strength and resilience of the community during tough times. It was wonderful to engage and work with local Philippine students, university staff, and our stakeholders. This journey demonstrated how entrepreneurship can make a difference by generating a positive influence.”
