As a student who has spent five years at Lingnan, I can say that this is a place brimming with opportunities that have benefited my development and enriched my university life.
Within the Lingnan community, you can explore different aspects of personal growth and develop various skills. I ran for the Student Union and I expanded my horizons by participating in diverse activities and joining the woodball team.
One of Lingnan's greatest strengths is its abundant resources dedicated to nurturing talent. Although our student population is relatively smaller compared to other universities, this allows us to allocate more resources to meet the different needs of our students. For instance, in the Data Science programme, every course is taught in small classes, which enables students to ask questions during and after class. The professors and teaching assistants are always proactive and eager to help.
Additionally, the programme offers resources that allow students to take various relevant certification exams, helping us validate our skills and prepare for future employment competition. The university also provides ample dormitory spaces, allowing students to fully experience dormitory life. Each of our ten dormitories has its unique characteristics, and students can choose one that best fits their preferences.
Life at Lingnan is an indispensable part of my cherished memories. Even after graduating, I often reminisce about this period. I believe that if you choose to join Lingnan in the future, you will not regret your decision!
