Studying at Lingnan was a pivotal chapter in my life, filled with inspiration from all the professors who have taught me knowledge in English literature and linguistics, as well as instilled in me a deeper understanding of social engagement. These fond memories of my time on campus still hold a special place in my heart.
My exchange journey to the United States was one of the most rewarding and lifechanging experience opening my eyes to the significance of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This experience fundamentally altered my perspective and solidified my identity as a global citizen. It made me realize how I can utilize my privileges to support others. Now, working at a local nonprofit dedicated to fostering inclusivity in Hong Kong and advocating for marginalized communities feels like a natural extension of my beliefs and values.
Beyond classrooms, I completed the “5 Things to do in U-life” – one of my favorite memory was definitely being part of the hostel association which helps me to enhance social intelligence, hone leadership skills and make lifelong friends who I cherish to this day.
