When I arrived at Lingnan, I left everything familiar behind. It was my first time abroad, away from my family, friends, and community. Lingnan became the place where I began my journey of growth, hard work, and discovery. Here, I found friends who have become family, mentors who continue to guide me, and a version of myself that I am proud of and continually strive to improve.
During my time at Lingnan, I had the privilege of learning karate with the exceptional Lingnan karate team and participating in the English department’s theatrical productions under the brilliant direction of Prof. Ingham. Most importantly, I delved into the fascinating world of politics with Professor Marcus Chu and Professor CP Cheung. They ignited in me a passion for research and dialogue, a drive to wake up each day determined to contribute meaningfully to society.
